FryFlex
FryFlex is a cost effective water based flexographic ink system that has been designed for use on a wide variety of presses with porous Kraft paper substrates. The system is formulated with a conventional alkaline-based emulsion system. All pigments are CONEG compliant. Low copper and low molybdenum pigments are available.
The FryFlex system is available in GCMI colors and custom matches using components presenting low levels of VOC’s. The pH of the FryFlex system ranges from approximately 8.5 to 9.5 depending on printing requirements. The viscosity normally ranges from 30-35 seconds in a number 2 Zahn cup at 25 C but can be adjusted to satisfy customer or print specific viscosity requirements. Typical densities of FryFlex inks range from 8.8 to 13.0 lbs./gallon. The values are dependent on specific formulations.

Neutraflex
NeutraFlex is a premium quality water based pH stable flexographic ink system which has been designed for use on a wide variety of paper substrates and polyethylene films.
The system is formulated with a special high solid, lower pH resin system producing exceptionally pH stable inks. All pigments are CONEG compliant. Low copper and low molybdenum pigments are available. The NeutraFlex system is available in GCMI colors, special matches and a complete line of base ink colors for in-plant blending. NeutraFlex offers the printer a product that is less susceptible to pH fluctuation thereby maintaining a more consistent viscosity for a much greater time period which will enhance mileage and reduce cost. The system minimizes the potential for build-up of dried ink and dust on the plates preventing downtime due to stopping for clean-up therefore offering additional cost savings. This allows the press operator to devote more attention to other production needs and less to ink monitoring. The system is designed with components which present extremely low levels of VOC’s.
